GHAZAN KHAN VS Mst. AMEER SHUMA S. 497---Penal Code (XLV of 1860), S. 324---Attempt to commit qatl-i-amd---Bail, refusal of---Having regard to the totality of circumstances whereunder the accused was alleged to have actively participated in the occurrence, that squarely constituted mischief of S. 324, P.P.C., punishable with imprisonment for a period of ten years, attracting the bar that could not be circumvented in the face of 'reasonable grounds' as contemplated by S. 497, Cr.P.C., the denial of bail to accused by the courts below was well within the remit of law and called for no interference---Petition for leave to appeal was dismissed and accused was denied bail.
