INAYATULLAH KHAN VS SHABIR AHMAD KHAN S. 29---Transfer of Property Act (IV of 1882), S. 54---Agreement to sell immoveable property---Essential ingredients---Uncertainty and vagueness---Scope---Document in question did not describe the land, its area, the total sale consideration and when the balance of the sale consideration was payable and the transaction to be completed---Such a document did not constitute a contract to sell land, therefore, it would be void for uncertainty in terms of S. 29 of the Contract Act, 1872---Petition for leave to appeal was converted into appeal and allowed and suit filed by respondent was dismissed.
