SHAH JEHAN VS ILYAS GUL Benefit of doubt--- Principle---Prosecution primarily is bound to establish guilt against the accused without shadow of reasonable doubt by producing trustworthy, convincing and coherent evidence---If court came to the conclusion that the charge so levelled against the accused had not been proved beyond reasonable doubt, then the accused became entitled for his acquittal on getting benefit of doubt.
