MEPCO CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER VS FAZAL CLOTH MILLS LTD. S.29---Savings---Scope---Where any special or local law prescribes for any suit, appeal or application, a period of limitation different from the period prescribed under the Limitation Act, 1908, then period prescribed in special or local law will prevail---In terms of S. 29, Limitation Act, 1908, only the provisions of Ss.4, 9 to 18 & 22 shall apply in so far as they are not expressly excluded by such special or local law and the remaining provisions including S.5 of Limitation Act, 1908 shall not apply.
