PAKISTAN TELECOMMUNICATION COMPANY LIMITED VS PAKISTAN TELECOMMUNICATION AUTHORITY S.23---Issue of enforcement orders and penalties---Scope---Section 23(1) of the Pakistan Telecommunication (Re-organization) Act, 1996 provides that where a licensee contravenes any provision of the Act or rules made thereunder or any term or condition of the license, PTA or any of its officer(s) not below the rank of Director may, by a written notice, require the licensee to show cause within thirty days as to why enforcement order may not be issued.
