SALAMAT MANSHA MASIH VS State Chap. XV---Offences relating to religion---Standard of proof---Islamic jurisprudence considers offences relating to religion to be offences against God; they pertain to the rights of God in the terminology of Islamic jurists who categorize these offences as hadd offences---To establish the guilt of an accused in a hadd offence, as per Islamic jurisprudence, requires the highest, or best, form of evidence, and any doubt exonerates the accused.
