MUHAMMAD WAJID VS State Ss. 302(b) & 376---Qatl-i-amd, rape---Appreciation of evidence---Substitution of real culprit---Scope---Accused was charged for committing murder of the minor daughter of complainant after her rape---High Court observed that it did not appeal to reason, logic or commonsense that a father would let the real murderer of his baby daughter go scot free by substituting him with an innocent person (the appellant)---Circumstances established that the prosecution had proved its case against the accused to the extent of murder of the victim, beyond any shadow of doubt---Appeal against conviction was partially dismissed accordingly.
