MUHAMMAD WAJID VS State Ss. 302(b) & 376---Qatl-i-amd, rape---Appreciation of evidence--- Police witnesses---Scope---Accused was charged for committing murder of the minor daughter of complainant after her rape---Police witnesses had no enmity or ill will towards the accused and had no reason to falsely implicate him in the case by making up the place of his arrest or foisting the dopata on him---Evidence of the Police witnesses could be fully relied upon, in circumstances---Circumstances established that the prosecution had proved its case against the accused to the extent of murder of the victim, beyond any shadow of doubt---Appeal against conviction was partially dismissed accordingly.
