AQEEL HUSSAIN VS State Motive---Scope---Existence of motive/ enmity was neither substantive nor direct evidence--- Motive was not a corroborative piece of evidence either---Motive/enmity was only a circumstance, which might lead to the commission of an offence---Motive was a starting point for committing a crime, but under no circumstances it could be taken as substantive piece of evidence---Further, motive/enmity was a double-edged weapon---Offence might be perpetrated because of the existence of the motive/enmity and it could also be a basis of a false charge.
