SHAHZAD AHMED VS State Witness--- Statement of Police Official---Scope---Evidence of Police Official was as good as that of any other citizen---Evidence of police officials must be scrutinized with a greater degree of circumspection for the reason that in a society with the level of moral value that a subordinate officer was seldom expected to tell the truth in deviation of the express or implied instructions of his superior---Proper and imperative would be that case should have been investigated by some other agency to maintain the transparency and to curb the false implication.
