ISRAR AHMED VS State S. 561-a---Inherent powers of High Court---application for review---Scope---Petitioner sought review of an order passed in revision petition on the ground that some documents going to the roots of the case were not discussed in the final order---Document was actually an entry in the record of rights which pertained to a person from whom the petitioner had allegedly purchased the disputed property---Petitioner's contention was that the previous owner had purchased the property from Government but he had failed to produce challan for payment of the price of land---Non-availability of paid challan had cut the roots of the case especially when the Government was denying ownership of petitioner---Documents filed by petitioner were rightly overlooked---application seeking review of final order was not maintainable while the merits of the case also did not warrant consideration of the same---application was dismissed.
