KHAN MUHAMMAD VS State Confession, retraction of---Scope---Judicial confession even if it was later retracted if it had been made voluntarily with the object of telling the truth taking into account the context of the prosecution case and that most if not all the procedural safeguards had been fulfilled whilst recording the judicial confession before the Magistrate---No reason existed to doubt the voluntariness and truthfulness of the judicial confession when put in the context of the prosecution case and as such relied upon it as against the accused.
