KHAN MUHAMMAD VS State S. 302(b)---Qatl-i-amd---Appreciation of evidence---Recovery of weapon of offence from accused---Reliance---Scope---Accused was charged for committing murder of his daughter and her paramour while seeing them in hugging position---Danda which was used to bludgeon the deceased to death by hitting them over the head was recovered on the spot from the accused when he came to the police station to register his FIR---Danda was blood stained and the chemical report of the blood was positive---Safe custody had been proven as the danda was sealed on the spot and sent to the chemical laboratory in a sealed condition as evidenced by the chemical report and no question of tampering was made---Circumstances established that the prosecution had proved its case against the accused beyond a reasonable doubt---Appeal against conviction was dismissed, in circumstances.
