AQEEL VS State Ss. 302(b), 504 & 34---Qatl-i-amd, intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace, common intention---Appreciation of evidence---Sentence, reduction in---Delay of four days in lodging the FIR---Scope---Accused were charged for committing murder of the brother of complainant---Record showed that the delay stood explained by the complainant in the FIR that after taking the letter from the hospital, the injured was referred to another hospital for better treatment---Injured died during the treatment---Post-mortem was conducted and thereafter he lodged the FIR on same day---Circumstances established that the prosecution had proved its case against the accused beyond any shadow of doubt---Appeal against conviction was dismissed, however, death sentence of the accused was converted into life imprisonment.
