MUHAMMAD IDREES VS State art. 40---Disclosure made by the accused---Scope---If something related to the case is recovered or any fact is discovered in consequence of information conveyed by the accused person, then the information so received would be admissible in evidence to the extent of recovery if corroborated with other pieces of evidence within the purview of art. 40 of the Qanun-e-Shahadat, 1984, because then, the presumption would be towards its truthfulness---If nothing in consequence of the disclosure is recovered or discovered, then the information so received by itself would not be admissible.
