NOOR ZAMAN VS State Ss. 302, 324, 147, 148 & 149---Qatl-i-amd, attempt to commit qatl-i-amd, rioting, rioting armed with deadly weapons, unlawful assembly---Appreciation of evidence---Non-existence of the report of ballistic experts and serologist---Not consequential---Accused was charged for committing murder of the son of the complainant by firing---Since there was overwhelming evidence in the form of direct ocular evidence corroborated by the evidence of motive and medical certificate, entry register and preparation, therefore, non-existence of the report of ballistic experts and serologist would not cast any shadow of doubt on the eye-witness account of the incident furnished by the witnesses---Circumstances established that the prosecution had succeeded to substantiate the charge against the accused beyond shadow of any reasonable doubt through coherent and confidence inspiring evidence---Appeal against conviction was dismissed accordingly.
