AHMED VS State S. 302(b)--- Qatl-i-amd--- Appreciation of evidence---Medical evidence---Scope---Accused was charged for committing murder of the son of complainant by utilizing stone---In the present case, it was not clear whether the deceased had received one or two injuries---Post-mortem report showed that the injury No.2 was at a distance of 2 cm---Eye-witness of the incident deposed that after hearing the noise of foot, he woke up and had seen the accused while inflicting the blows on the deceased but failed to disclose whether they had heard hue and cry of the deceased and no reason had been given by the prosecution---Appeal was dismissed by reducing the sentence from life imprisonment to imprisonment for twenty two years, in circumstances.
