MUNEER AHMED VS State Ss. 324, 336-B & 337-F(i)---anti-Terrorism act (XXVII of 1997), S. 7---attempt to commit qatl-i-amd, hurt by corrosive substance (acid), ghayr-jaifah-damiyah, act of terrorism---appreciation of evidence---Ocular account---Scope---accused was charged for throwing acid upon his wife, due to which she sustained acid injuries on her face---Ocular account of the incident had been furnished by complainant, her brother and cousin---Evidence of the eye-witnesses was found to be reliable, trustworthy and confidence inspiring and thus believable, especially with regard to the correct identification of the accused as the person who threw acid on the complainant and could be convicted on that evidence provided that there was some corroborative/supportive evidence---Circumstances established that the prosecution had proved its case against the accused beyond a reasonable doubt---appeal was dismissed accordingly.
