GHULAM ALI VS State Ss. 302 & 34---Qatl-i-amd, common intention---Appreciation of evidence---Related and interested witnesses---Scope---Accused were charged that they in furtherance of their common intention committed murder of the father of the complainant by firing---Defence alleged that the witnesses were relatives of complainant and interested, therefore, their evidence could not be relied upon---Such contention had no force as although the witnesses were relatives of the complainant but they had specific motive against the accused persons---Three eye-witnesses had categorically deposed against the accused persons and no material contradiction was found in their evidence---Evidence produced by the prosecution was reliable, trustworthy and confidence inspiring which was supported by the medical evidence---Circumstances established that the prosecution had proved its case against the accused persons beyond a reasonable doubt by producing reliable, trustworthy and confidence inspiring evidence---Appeal against conviction was dismissed, in circumstances.
