NADEEM ZUBERI VS CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY FR. 54-a---Civil service---Disciplinary proceedings, abatement of---Scope---Fundamental Rule 54-a is clear in its terms that the disciplinary proceedings against an officer abate if the latter attains the age of superannuation---Said rule entitles such an officer to retire with full pensionary benefits and the period of suspension is bound to be treated as a period spent on duty.
