MUHAMMAD RAMZAN VS State S. 302(b)---Criminal Procedure Code (V of 1898), S. 345---Qatl-i-amd---Appreciation of evidence---Compounding of offence---Accused was charged for committing murder of the deceased---Accused filed an application under S.345(5), Cr.P.C. for seeking permission to enter into compromise with the legal heirs of the deceased---Report was sought from the Sessions Judge for verification and genuineness of the compromise arrived at between the parties and for seeing the interest of the minors, if any, had been fully protected---Report had been submitted by the concerned Sessions Judge---Sessions Judge observed in his report that all the legal heirs made their statements voluntarily, without duress, coercion or pressure and the compromise arrived at between the parties was complete and genuine one---Appeal against conviction was allowed on the basis of compromise.
