Ubaid Khan VS State S. 302(b)---Qatl-i-amd---Appreciation of evidence---Circumstantial evidence supporting prosecution's case---Accused was charged for committing murder of his mother with axe blows---Record showed that the case in hand had sufficient circumstantial evidence in the form of recovery of weapon of offence i.e. axe, allegedly recovered on the pointation of the complainant and blood stained garments of the deceased as well as that of the complainant, therefore, the circumstantial evidence further added vigor to the story of the prosecution---Circumstances established that the prosecution had proved its case against the accused beyond any shadow of doubt, however, due to some mitigating circumstances, the sentence of life imprisonment was altered to imprisonment for ten years---Appeal was dismissed with modification of sentence.
