Ijaz Ullah VS Shireen Zada Ss. 302(b) & 34---Criminal Procedure Code (V of 1898), S.417 (S-A)---Qatl-i-amd, common intention---Appeal against acquittal---Appreciation of evidence---Delay of more than six hours in lodging the FIR---Consequential---Accused were charged for committing murder of the father of complainant by inflicting hatchet blows---There was an ordinate delay of more than six hours in reporting the matter/even to the local police---Complainant party were not interested to inform the local police about murder of the deceased rather the police themselves were attracted to the venue of crime, in response to information about the unfortunate incident and the alleged explanation in respect of the delayed report offered by the complainant i.e. fear of the Taliban militants appeared to be a lame executse just to cover-up the subject delay in registration of the report---Appeal against acquittal was dismissed accordingly.
