Citation Name: 2024 YLR 1188 QUETTA-HIGH-COURT-BALOCHISTANBookmark this Case GHULAM RASOOL alias MAH KHAN VS State S. 302(b)---Qatl-i-amd---Appreciation of evidence---Sentence, modification of---Mitigating circumstances---Accused was charged for committing murder of the father and brother of the complainant---No motive was alleged by the prosecution, and the question as to what happened prior to the scene of occurrence that prompted the accused to take away the life of the deceased were mitigating circumstances---In such state of affairs, the conviction of the accused as awarded by the trial Court was maintained, but the sentence of death awarded to the accused, under S. 302(b), P.P.C. was altered to imprisonment for life---Appeal was dismissed with modification in sentence.
