AIJAZ AHMED BHATTI VS MUHAMMAD URIS MEERANI Double presumption of innocence---Scope--- Double presumption of innocence existed in favour of an accused, who had secured acquittal; one, that every accused shall be presumed to be innocent unless proved to be guilty, and the other, that the competent Court of law had adjudged him 'not guilty'.
