Mst. QAMAR BIBI VS SHAHAB-UD-DIN S. 12---Suit for specific performance of agreement to sell---Balance sale consideration, deposit of---Duty of Court---Scope---In a suit for specific performance of land, if seller/vendor has refused to receive sale consideration, or any part thereof, it should be deposited in Court and invested in some government protected security (such as Defence or National Savings Certificates)---In case suit is decreed, the seller would receive value of money which prevailed at the time of the contract and in case buyer loses he can similarly retrieve deposited amount.
