Muhammad Mohsan VS State Improvements made by the witnesses---Effect---When a witness improved his statement to strengthen the prosecution case and the moment it was concluded that improvements were made deliberately and with mala fide intention, the testimony of such witness becomes unreliable---Witnesses who make dishonest improvements in their statements on material aspects of the case in order to fill the lacunas of the prosecution case or to bring their statements in line with other prosecution evidence are not worthy of reliance.
