Abdul Rasheed VS State Ss. 302(b), 324, 337-F(iii), 337-L(2), 148 & 149---Qatl-i-amd, attempt to commit qal-i-amd, ghayr-jaifah-mutalahimah, causing hurt, rioting armed with deadly weapons, unlawful assembly---Appreciation of evidence---Ocular account proved---Accused were charged for assaulting complainant party, due to which one person died whereas three sustained firearm injuries---Record showed that contents of the FIR were duly corroborated by the complainant, who appeared before the Court and, with unwavering certainty, reaffirmed the nomination of the accused/appellants, attributing to each of them the specific roles described in the FIR---Testimony of complainant found further support in the statements of three eye-witnesses including two injured witnesses, all of whom fully endorsed the prosecution's version in every material particular---Said witnesses were subjected to extensive cross-examination by the defence, however, no material contradiction or inconsistency could be elicited to cast doubt on their credibility or weakened the prosecution's case---Testimonies of said witnesses remained consistent, coherent and mutually corroborative throughout---Appeal against conviction was dismissed, in circumstances.
