NUSRAT NAWAZ VS OFFICE OF THE ADVOCATE GENERAL FOR ICT, ISLAMABAD art. 11(3)---Employment---Forced labour---Denial of salary for work duly performed---Duty of State---Constitution founded upon the principles of Islamic ideology, imposes an unequivocal duty upon the State to realize and safeguard the fundamental rights of its citizens, irrespective of gender, faith, or social standing, in order to promote social and economic justice---Denial of salary for work duly performed not only contravenes this constitutional command but, in effect, amounts to forced labour, which stands expressly prohibited under art.11(3) of the Constitution and constitutes an offence against the moral and legal order of the Republic.
