AZHAR IQBAL VS STATE. Evidence---Improvements---Effect---Dishonest improvement by prosecution witness. If a prosecution witness makes dishonest improvement in his statement regarding material aspects of the case or introduces improvements in order to bring his evidence in line with medical evidence, such witness cannot be relied upon. Evidence containing material improvements loses its credibility and cannot form basis of conviction.
