SAID-UR-REHMAN VS State. Ss.302(b), 201 & 34---Medical evidence contradicting prosecution case. Reappraisal of evidence---Benefit of doubt. According to medical evidence, injuries sustained by deceased would have caused profuse bleeding. However, evidence available on record showed no indication of such bleeding at alleged place of occurrence. Prosecution failed to explain absence of blood evidence. Case against appellants was not proved beyond reasonable doubt. Appeal against conviction was allowed.
