AMJAD VS STATE Circumstantial evidence---Scope---In the cases involving capital punishment, evidence shall be of the nature, where all circumstances must be so inter linked, making out a single unbroken chain, where one end of the same touched the dead body and the other neck of the accused---Any missing link in the chain would destroy the whole prosecution case and would render the same unreliable for recording conviction.
