Tanveer Amjad Tahir VS Shahid Mehmood Art.199---Constitutional jurisdiction of High Court---Concurrent findings, interference in---Scope--- Ordinarily High Court exercises restraint while examining issues concurrently decided by courts below; however, such principle is not absolute--- Being Constitutional Court, High Court is obliged to exercise jurisdiction under Article 199 of Constitution where abuse of process of law or patent illegality is apparent in proceedings before subordinate courts--- Writ of certiorari is limited in scope, but where concurrent findings are based upon patent illegality, High Court cannot allow such illegality to continue--- Constitutional petition was maintainable in circumstances.
