P. C. were initiated against the petitioners--Investigating Officer, without giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, forwarded the matter to Magistrate and the premises were sealed---Validity---Such proceedings were initiated in order to dispossess the petitioners _from their lawful possession---Respondent instead of adopting the normal procedure sought eviction of the petitioners in a slipshod manner by misusing the authority under S.145, Cr.P.C.-- Proceedings initiated under S.145, Cr.P.C. against the petitioners were quashed in circumstances.
