UNITED BAKERY VS HASSAN SIDDIQUI PLD 1982 SC 465, Sindh Rented Premises Ordinance 1979--15 , Sindh Rented Premises Ordinance 1979 ----S.15---Ejectment of tenant was sought on ground of default---Landlord failed to appear for cross-examination and his side was closed by Rent Controller---Tenant in his affidavit explained that landlord had refused rent and money orders and rent was deposited in the Court but landlord did not appear in the Court to deny or dispute such facts---Supreme Court, with the consent of both the parties, remanded the case to Rent Controller and set aside order of eviction of tenant directing that Rent Controller should allow the parties to produce evidence afresh on the issue of default and then give decision according to law within six months.
