MUHAMMAD BASHIR VS SULTAN MAHMOOD West Pakistan Urban Rent Restriction Ordinance 1959--2 , Ss. 13 & 2 "Residential building" as defined under S. 2(g) ; "nonresidential building" as defined under S. 2(d) and word "building" as defined under S. 2(a)-Word "building" means even a part of a building-Any part of a whole building can be a "building" within meaning of S. 2(a)-Portion of a building let out by landlord and used by tenant exclusively for non-residential purposes-A "nonresidential building"-Despite fact that the rest of the whole building is used by landlord for residential purpose that would not render portion let out to the tenant, a residential building and as such landlord not entitled to seek his eviction on ground of his personal use for residential purpose.
