ALI ASJAD MALHI VS Ms. Syeda NOSHEEN IFTIKHAR S. 9---Constitution of Pakistan, Art. 218(3)---Power of the Election Commission to declare a poll void---Scope---Election Commission was empowered under Art. 218(3) of the Constitution read with S. 9 of the Elections Act, 2017 to ensure that elections were conducted honestly, justly, fairly and lawfully in such a manner that coercion, intimidation and pressure tactics were stymied.
