Zulfiqar Ahmed VS Muhammad Nadeem Purpose---at times, while lodging of criminal cases, wider net is cast to implicate an accused including other family members to ensure that none of them is left free to pursue their case in Court---after trial in many cases the accused who are nominated are acquitted---However, in number of cases the complainant of the case walks away freely without facing the consequences of a false accusation---Societal propensity towards false accusations in FIRs can potentially be curbed through civil suits for malicious prosecution.
