Abdul Hameed Shah VS State Ss. 302(b), 324 & 34---Qatl-i-amd, attempt to commit qatl-i-amd, common intention---Appreciation of evidence---Acquittal of co-accused on same set of evidence---Inconsequential---Accused was charged that he with rest of the culprits, in furtherance of their common intention, not only caused fire shot injuries to the sons of complainant but also caused danda blow to complainant with intention to commit their murder; and one son of the complainant died because of his injuries---Record showed that acquittal of co-accused was not enough to earn acquittal for the appellant for the reason that he was having a different role in commission of incident---Evidence brought on record by the prosecution was inspired confidence, thus it could not be disbelieved in favour of the appellant on the basis of its quantity---Appeal against conviction was dismissed, in circumstances.
