Naveed Tariq VS State Ss. 10, 3, 3-a & 8(2)---Reward to informer---Section 3(3) of the Punjab animals Slaughter Control act, 1963 (' the act 1963') ) describes offence while S.8(2) of the act 1963 prescribes punishment with imprisonment which may extend to eight years but which shall not be less than four years and with fine ---Said offence under the act is so serious that for its prevention government has proposed a reward under S.10 of the act for providing information about commission of such offence.
