Citation Name: 2025 PCrLJ 633 KARACHI-HIGH-COURT-SINDHBookmark this Case Rehman Bacha VS State S. 302(b)---Qatl-i-amd---Appreciation of evidence---Confession before the police---Not admissible in exedence---Accused was charged for committing murder of the brother-in-law of complainant by firing---Accused allegedly confessed to the murder before the police however such confession was inadmissible in evidence---Had it been a genuine confession it again begged the question as to why the police did not produce the accused before a Magistrate to record his judicial confession which would have been potentially of evidentiary value---Thus, the prosecution had not proved its case against the accused beyond a reasonable doubt---Appeal against conviction was allowed, in circumstances.
