Umair Altaf VS State S. 497---Penal Code (XLV of 1860), Ss. 295-A & 298-A---Insulting the religious feelings of any class of citizens, disrespecting the wives, family and companions of Holy' Prophet (P.B.U.H)---Bail, dismissal of---Allegations against the accused-petitioner were that he made a video of derogatory/blasphemous remarks in respect of companions of Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) and published/uploaded the same on his Tik Tok account---Petitioner was specifically named in the FIR which was lodged with promptitude---Petitioner was found fully connected with the crime during the course of investigation---Prima facie, petitioner's involvement in the offence could not be dislodged---Nothing was on the file to suggest that the case required further inquiry---Petitioner led to the recovery of cell phone containing the blasphemous contents, which had already been sent for forensic analysis to the office of Forensic Science Agency---Section 295-A of P.P.C was punishable upto ten years imprisonment, as such same fell within embargo contained in S.497 of Cr.P.C.---No case for the enlargement of the petitioner on bail was made out---Petition having no merit was dismissed, in circumstances.
