Mehboob Ali Mallah VS State S. 302(b)---Qatl-i-amd---Appreciation of evidence---Delay of three days in sending the case property to the Laboratory---Consequential---Accused was charged for committing murder of his wife/daughter of complainant by firing---Record showed that the crime weapon was sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory after an unexplained delay of three days---No plausible explanation had been offered for such delay, nor was there any malkhana entry produced to show that the property remained in safe custody during that period---Prosecution also failed to examine the in-charge of the malkhana, who could have explained the manner in which the property was kept in safe custody and then transmitted to the Forensic Science Laboratory---Appeal against conviction was allowed, in circumstances.
