Mirza Arslan Baig VS State Double presumption of innocence---Scope---Order of acquittal carries with it a double presumption of innocence in favour of the accused and in such cases, the Court is required to act slowly before interfering with such order of acquittal, unless the grounds for acquittal are perverse, wholly illogical or unreasonable.
