ZAHIR ZAKIR JAFFAR VS STATE. Art. 164---Modern devices, evidence of---"Silent Witness theory"---Scope---"Silent Witness theory" is a rule of evidence that allows for admission of photographic, video, or recorded evidence as substantive proof of what it depicts, without the need for an eye-witness to testify that they personally observed the events depicted in the recording.
