ALI AKBER VS State S. 342---Examination of accused---Scope---Section 342, Cr.P.C., mandates that all incriminating evidence is to be put to the accused in his statement under said section and evidence which has not been confronted to the accused, conviction cannot be based on such evidence and such evidence has to be rejected or accepted in toto---If any incriminating piece of evidence is not put to the accused in his statement under S.342, Cr.P.C., for his explanation, the same cannot be used against him for his conviction.
